Indications
- Treatment of Dermatological Conditions: Use Chlorhexidine For Dogs
to address mild to severe bacterial skin conditions in dogs and cats. - Wound Healing and Skin Cleansing: Apply the spray to support wound healing and maintain general skin hygiene.
- Pre-Surgical Preparation: Use CHLORHEX spray to prepare surgical sites or as a scrub for hands and forearms before surgery or patient care.
Directions for Use
For Affected Areas
- Shake the bottle well before use.
- Spray CHLORHEX directly onto the affected areas 2–3 times daily or as directed by a veterinarian.
- Allow the area to air-dry naturally.
- Avoid spraying in the eyes, nose, and mouth.
For Disinfection or Surgical Scrubbing
- Rinse the targeted area thoroughly with water.
- Apply a minimal amount of CHLORHEX spray to cover the skin or wound area.
- Gently scrub and rinse thoroughly again.
Warnings and Precautions
- Avoid spraying in or around the eyes, nose, and mouth.
- Prevent intentional misuse, such as inhaling concentrated contents.
- Use CHLORHEX spray topically only.
- Keep the product out of children’s reach.
