Synthivan 300 mg/100 mg Tablet Description:
Synthivan 300 mg/100 mg Tablet is a combination of two anti-HIV medicines: Atazanavir and Ritonavir. They work by interfering with an enzyme (protease), which is required by HIV-infected cells to make new viruses. This stops the production of new viruses.
Uses:
It is used in the treatment of HIV infection.
Side Effects:
Headache, Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Stomach pain, Altered taste, Increased blood lipid level, Increased liver enzymes, Skin rash, Peripheral neuropathy (tingling and numbness of feet and hand).
Dosage:
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Take it with food.
