Sutib 50mg Sunitinib Capsule Description:
Sutib 50mg Capsule is an anti-cancer medication. It works by blocking the action of the abnormal protein that signals cancer cells to multiply. This helps to stop or slow the spread of cancer cells.
Sutib 50mg Capsule is used in the treatment of kidney cancer, pancreatic cancer and gastrointestinal stromal tumour.
Nausea, Vomiting, Weakness, Edema (swelling), Rash, Abdominal pain, Loss of appetite, Dyspepsia, Discoloration of skin, Fatigue, Fever, Dry skin, Bleeding, Increased blood pressure, Diarrhoea, Constipation, Painful blisters on hands and feet, Stomatitis (Inflammation of the mouth), Hair discolouration.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Sutib 50mg Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Is Sutib cytotoxic?
Yes, Sutib is cytotoxic and hence used in the treatment of certain types of cancer. However, its cytotoxic property can cause several side effects. Patients should follow the advice of the doctor regarding its use

Sutib inhibits the proteins that signal growth and spread of cancer cells. This result in stopping or slowing the spread of cancerous cells and helps shrink the tumors

Sutib is used for the treatment of gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST, tumor that occurs in the gastrointestinal tract, most commonly in the stomach or small intestine); metastatic renal cell carcinoma (MRCC, cancer that has spread beyond its site of origin in the kidney, to other organs in the body) and pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (PNET, islet cell carcinoma)
