Tazact is an antibacterial agent. It works by blocking the bacteria’s cell wall growth, which kills the bacteria.
WHAT IS THE USE OF TAZACT 4.5 GM INJECTION ?
Piperacillin/Tazobactam is used for treating moderate to severe infections caused by certain bacteria.
WHAT ARE THE POSSIBLE SIDE-EFFECTS OF TAZACT 4.5 GM INJECTION ?
Constipation; diarrhea; headache; indigestion; nausea; pain, swelling, or redness at the injection site; trouble sleeping; vomiting.
Seek medical attention right away if any of these SEVERE side effects occur:
Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); bloody stools; chest pain; decreased urination; fainting; fever, chills, or sore throat; inflammation at the injection site; red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin; seizures; shortness of breath; unusual bleeding or bruising; unusual tiredness or weakness; vaginal irritation or discharge; vein inflammation or tenderness.
