WHAT IS ASTHAFEN 1 MG TABLETS ?
Ketotifen is an antihistamine for the eye that treats allergic symptoms by blocking a certain natural substance (histamine). It is also a mast cell stabilizer that prevents allergic reactions by reducing the release of natural substances that cause an allergic reaction.
WHAT IS THE USE OF ASTHAFEN 1 MG TABLETS ?
This medication is used to prevent and treat itching of the eyes caused by allergies (allergic/seasonal conjunctivitis).
WHAT ARE THE POSSIBLE SIDE-EFFECTS OF ASTHAFEN 1 MG TABLETS ?
Burning; dry eyes; eye discharge; eyelid disorder; flu-like syndrome; headache; infection of the mucous membrane around the eye; inflammation of the cornea; itching; nasal congestion; red eyes; runny nose; tearing.
Seek medical attention right away if any of these SEVERE side effects occur:
Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); eye pain or swelling; trouble breathing.
