Epiduo Gel Description
It combines two medicines, Adapalene and Benzoyl Peroxide, to treat acne (pimples). Adapalene, a form of Vitamin A, works with Benzoyl Peroxide, a keratolytic drug, to effectively manage acne.
These ingredients work together to prevent the build-up of sebum (the skin’s natural oil), unblock pores, and allow the outer layers of the skin to exfoliate naturally. Additionally, Benzoyl Peroxide penetrates the skin to kill bacteria that cause acne.
Uses
It treats acne by reducing excessive oil production in the skin.
