Zerostat VT Spacer Description

Zerostat VT Spacer with Flow Gate Valve is a non-static small volume chamber which holds the medicine so that it is enough to be inhaled comfortably. It allows the medicine to reach the lungs with minimal deposition in the mouth or throat. The transparent inhaler spacer is easy to use and allows the user to obtain full benefits of the medicine.

Use the device with an inhaler to deliver medicine directly to the mouth.

• The device has a transparent chamber to see the dose released in the spacer
• The unidirectional flow gate valve prevents dose dilution
• The non-electrostatic chamber prevents the drug from sticking to the chamber walls
• The pear-shaped device helps with better therapy outcome

Directions for Use:

• Zerostat-VT Spacer comes with two locks which ensure proper assembling of the two halves
• Remove the mouthpiece cap from the mouth-piece of the inhaler and shake the inhaler well
• Insert the inhaler firmly into the opposite end of the Zerostat-VT
• Holding the inhaler, press down on the canister to release a dose into the spacer. You will see the dose released in the spacer
• Remove the mouthpiece cap from the Zerostat-VT, breathe out fully, close your lips firmly around the mouthpiece, and breathe in deeply through your mouth to inhale the medicine through the spacer.
• Remove the Zerostat VT from your mouth and hold your breath for about 10 seconds, or as long as is comfortable
  Breathe out slowly
• Wait for a minute before repeating if you need a second dose
• Children should use the product under parental guidance
• For children below 3 years, a face mask (baby mask) attached to the Zerostat-VT Spacer should be used
