Glenoxal 100mg Injection is an anti-cancer medication. It works by damaging the genetic material (DNA) of the cancer cells and stops their growth and multiplication.
Glenoxal 100mg Injection is used in the treatment of cancer of colon and rectum.
Nausea, Fatigue, Anemia (low number of red blood cells), Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Decreased white blood cell count (neutrophils), Low blood platelets, Increased liver enzymes, Peripheral sensory neuropathy, Stomatitis (Inflammation of the mouth).
Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self administer.
Is Glenoxal highly emetogenic
Glenoxal is highly emetogenic, can cause hair loss, temporary infertility, diarrhea, neuropathy, cold sensitivity. Glenoxal is not ototoxic
Is Glenoxal a vesicant
Glenoxal is a vesicant, chemotherapeutic drug. Glenoxal is not an alkylating agent it is a platinum containing antineoplastic agent
How is Glenoxal administered?
Glenoxal is administered as intravenous infusion or bolus injection.
