Supirocin-B Plus Ointment Description:
Supirocin-B Plus Ointment is a combination of three medicines: Betamethasone and Mupirocin which treat skin infections. Betamethasone is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Mupirocin is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by destroying the bacterial cell membrane.
Uses:
Supirocin-B Plus Ointment is used in the treatment of skin infections.
Side Effects:
Application site reactions (burning, irritation, itching and redness).
Dosage:
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and gently massage the ointment. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.
