Mesacol 800mg Tablet DR blocks the release of chemical messengers that cause inflammation of the lining of the intestines.
Mesacol 800mg Tablet DR is used in the treatment of ulcerative colitis and Crohn?s disease.
Nausea, Headache, Diarrhoea, Abdominal pain.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Mesacol 800mg Tablet DR is to be taken with food.
Is Mesacol a steroid
Mesacol is not a steroid, NSAID, immunosuppressant, blood-thinner or sulfa drug. It is an anti-inflammatory drug
Can I take Mesacol forever?
No. Mesacol should only be taken for the duration prescribed by your doctor

Can I take Asacol with Advil
Asacol (mesalazine) can be taken with Nyquil, Tylenol (paracetamol), Gaviscon (sodium alginate) and Imodium (loperamide) only if prescribed by your doctor. It should not be taken with Advil (ibuprofen) or aspirin
