WHAT IS D-LORATIN 5 MG TABLETS ?
Desloratadine is an antihistamine. It works by blocking the action of histamine to relieve allergy symptoms, such as sneezing, runny nose, and itchy or watery eyes, and to relieve itching and rash due to chronic hives.
WHAT IS THE USE OF D-LORATIN 5 MG TABLETS ?
Desloratadine is used for treating allergy symptoms and chronic hives.
WHAT ARE THE POSSIBLE SIDE-EFFECTS OF D-LORATIN 5 MG TABLETS ?
Dizziness; drowsiness; dry mouth; menstrual pain; muscle pain; nausea; sore throat; tiredness; upset stomach.
Seek medical attention right away if any of these SEVERE side effects occur:
Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, throat, or tongue); dark urine; fast or irregular heartbeat; pale stools; seizures; yellowing of the skin or eyes.

WHAT IS THE IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION OF D-LORATIN 5 MG TABLETS ?
- Do not change your dose or take desloratadine more often than prescribed without checking with your doctor.
- Desloratadine may interfere with skin allergy tests. If you are scheduled for a skin test, talk to your doctor.
- PREGNANCY and BREAST-FEEDING: You will need to discuss the benefits and risks of taking desloratadine while you are pregnant. Do not breast-feed while taking desloratadine.
