Ventorlin Expectorant Description:
Ventorlin Expectorant is a combination of two medicines: Salbutamol and guaifenesin. Salbutamol is a bronchodilator. It works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widens airways. Guaifenesin is an expectorant which decreases the stickiness of mucus (phlegm) and helps in its removal from the airways. Together, they make breathing easier.
Uses:
Ventorlin Expectorant is used in the treatment of cough.
Side Effects:
Nausea, Diarrhoea, Stomach pain, Vomiting, Dizziness, Headache, Rash, Urticaria, Tremor, Palpitations, Muscle cramp.
Dosage:
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Ventorlin Expectorant may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
