Iopromide belongs to a class of drugs known as Iodinated radiographic contrast agent. It enhances imaging due to its high Iodine content attenuating the beam of X-rays during examination.
Uses:
Ultravist 300mg I/ml Injection (50 ml in 1 vial) is used in diagnosis of disease of spinal cord.
Side Effects:
Headache, Altered taste, Vomiting, Chest pain, Injection site pain, Back pain, Nausea, Infusion site reaction, Abnormal vision, Decreased blood pressure, Frequent urge to urinate.
Dosage:
Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self administer.
