Toscof Expectorant Description:
Toscof Expectorant is a combination of four medicines: Terbutaline, Bromhexine, Ammonium Chloride and Menthol. Terbutaline is a bronchodilator which relax the muscles in the airways and widen the airways. Bromhexine is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Ammonium Chloride is an expectorant which works by decreasing the stickiness of airway secretions and helps in their removal from the airways. Menthol is an organic compound which produces a sensation of coolness and relieves minor throat irritation. Together, they make breathing easier.

Toscof Expectorant is used in the treatment of cough.
Side Effects:
Nausea, Indigestion, Diarrhoea, Bloating, Tremor, Increased heart rate, Dizziness, Headache, Sweating, Skin rash, Allergic reaction.
Dosage:
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Toscof Expectorant may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
