Ticlopid 250mg Tablet is an antiplatelet medication. It works by preventing platelets from sticking together which decreases the formation of harmful blood clots. This lowers the chance of heart attack or stroke.
Ticlopid 250mg Tablet is used in the treatment of heart attack and unstable angina. It decreases the chances of having another heart attack, stroke or death from a disease related to your heart or blood vessels.
Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Decreased white blood cell count.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ticlopid 250mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
How does Ticlopid work?
Ticlopid is a platelet aggregation inhibitor. Ticlopid induces a dose dependent reduction in platelet aggregation by reducing platelet-fibrinogen binding and the platelet-platelet interactions thereby increasing the bleeding time. It thus works by preventing platelets from collecting and forming clots
