Sebifin 250mg Tablet is an antifungal medication. It stops the growth of fungus by preventing them from forming their own protective covering which is required for their survival in the human.
Sebifin 250mg Tablet is used in the treatment of fungal infections.
Nausea, Abdominal pain, Skin rash, Increased liver enzymes.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Sebifin 250mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Avoid Sebifin 250mg Tablet with caffeine and chocolate as well as food containing caffeine and chocolate such as tea leaves, cocoa beans.
Does Sebifin treat ringworm?
Sebifin is used for the treatment of ringworm (dermatophytosis) infection. It is also used for the treatment of fungal infections of the groin area, toe and finger nails (yellow, opaque and thickened nails) and the feet (athlete?s foot).
Is Sebifin effective?
Sebifin is effective as an antifungal drug if used in the doses for a duration as advised by your doctor.
Does Sebifin interfere with birth control?
Sebifin can cause breakthrough bleeding and irregular periods when Sebifin are taken with oral contraceptives (birth control medications). Please consult your doctor before taking the two medicines together.
Does Sebifin treat tinea versicolor?
Sebifin is used to treat fungal infections affecting fingernails, toenails, and skin. It is not the preferred antifungal for tinea versicolor (yeast infection characterized by discolored skin usually on the back, underarms, upper arms, chest, and neck)
