Polycap Capsule Description:
Polycap Capsule is a combination of five medicines which include three blood pressure lowering medicines (Ramipril, Atenolol and Hydrochlorothiazide), a lipid lowering medicine (Simvastatin) and an anti-platelet medicine (Aspirin). Together, they lower blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels, optimize cholesterol levels by decreasing ?bad? cholesterol (LDL), and prevent the formation of harmful blood clots (platelet aggregation). This reduces the risk of heart diseases and stroke.
Uses:
Polycap Capsule is used for prevention of heart attack and stroke. It is used in patients with multiple risk factors for heart attack and stroke.
Side Effects:
Dyspepsia, Cough, Dizziness, Vertigo, Fatigue, Weakness, Musculoskeletal (bone, muscle or joint) pain.
Dosage:
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Polycap Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
