Kuff X AP Syrup Description:
Kuff X AP Syrup is a combination of four medicines: Ambroxol, guaifenesin, chlorpheniramine and phenylephrine which relieve dry cough. Ambroxol is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Guaifenesin is an expectorant which works by decreasing the stickiness of mucus (phlegm) and helps in their removal from the airways. Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Phenylephrine is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose.
Uses:
Kuff X AP Syrup is used in the treatment of dry cough.
Side Effects:
Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Stomach upset, Stomach pain, Loss of appetite, Dizziness, Headache, Rash, Urticaria, Allergic reaction, Sleepiness, Insomnia (difficulty in sleeping).
Dosage:
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Kuff X AP Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Take it with food if stomach upset occurs.
