Uses of Erlotinib Tablet
Erlotinib 150mg Tablet is used in patients suffering from metastatic lung cancer, or cancer of the lung which is at a very advanced stage. It is also used to treat certain types of pancreatic cancer, along with a combination of other medications.
How to use Erlotinib Tablet
Take Erlotinib medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. The medicine should be taken orally at least an hour before a meal, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Erlotinib Tablet works
Erlotinib 150Mg tablets are known to be tyrosine kinase inhibitors whose function is to prevent the growth of cancer cells and destroy them during this process.
Erlotinib 150 mg Common Side Effects:
Nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, mouth sores, dry skin, eye dryness/irritation, or unusual eyelash growth may occur.
Seek medical attention right away if any of these severe side effects occur:
Signs of kidney problems (such as change in t+he amount of urine), black stools, vomit that looks like coffee grounds, easy bleeding/bruising, stomach/abdominal pain, yellowing eyes or skin, dark urine, unusual fatigue, signs of infection (e.g., fever, chills, persistent sore throat), eye pain, vision changes.
