Cartidin gm 50 mg/500 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Diacerein and Glucosamine which treat osteoarthritis. They are proteoglycan synthesis stimulators which help in the formation of cartilage (the soft tissue around the joints) leading to joint repair. Apart from this, Diacerein also lowers inflammation (swelling) of the joints.
Uses:
Cartidin gm 50 mg/500 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of osteoarthritis.
Side Effects:
Nausea, Diarrhoea, Constipation, Urine discolouration, Heartburn.
Dosage:
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Cartidin gm 50 mg/500 mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
