Azacitidine 100mg injection is an anti-cancer drug. It works by interfering with the growth of the genetic material (DNA and RNA) of cancer cells in leukemia. This kills cancer cells and helps the normal maturation and growth of young blood cells in the bone marrow.
Azacitidine 100mg injection is used to treat certain types of blood cancer. It is used to treat adult patients with all subtypes of myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS). According to the doctor’s decision, it can also be used to treat other diseases.
Injection site reactions (pain, swelling, redness), vomiting, weakness, nausea, decreased blood potassium levels, bruising, fever, chills, diarrhea, constipation
