Arbid A 150 mg/30 mg Tablet Description:
Arbid A 150 mg/30 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Roxithromycin and Ambroxol which treat respiratory tract infection associated with excessive mucus (phlegm). Roxithromycin is a macrolide antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins which are required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Ambroxol is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Addition of Ambroxol enhances the antibacterial effect of Roxithromycin.
Uses:
Arbid A 150 mg/30 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of respiratory tract infection.
Side Effects:
Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Stomach pain, Allergic reaction.
Dosage:
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Arbid A 150 mg/30 mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.Take it atleast 15 minutes before or 3 hours after food.
