AB Phylline 10mg/ml Syrup is a mucolytic and bronchodilator. It works by relaxing the muscles of the airways and also thins and loosens mucus, making it easier to breathe.
AB Phylline 10mg/ml Syrup is used in the treatment of asthma prevention and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder.
Nausea, Headache, Vomiting, Abdominal upset, Restlessness.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. AB Phylline 10mg/ml Syrup is to be taken with food.
What is Ab phylline used for?
Ab phylline is used to treat symptoms of bronchial asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. It blocks the intracellular enzyme (phosphodiesterases) followed by increase in level of messenger known as cyclic adenosine monophosphate, which promotes relaxation of bronchial muscles
How does it work?
It inhibits the release of certain inflammatory chemicals (leukotrienes, tumor necrosis factor etc) in the lung thereby preventing inflammation in the lung. It also reduces thickness of the mucus thus making it easy for the patient to clear the mucus load
